Welcome to the Plant Maintenance, Inspection and Engineering Society*.
Our purpose is to provide a forum to share knowledge, create a networking relationship among interested parties, and provide technical programs that are meaningful and that emphasize the hands on aspect versus the theoretical side of Mechanical Engineering.
PMIES is managed by a steering committee composed mainly of engineers from the Ship Channel / Bayport Industries. This committee determines the programs (with input from the attendees), time and location of the meetings. If you have questions about PMIES, please contact one of the Steering Committee members or complete our Contact Form.
To make the meetings more convenient, they are held at various plant sites in the Ship Channel or Bayport areas once each month from 3 pm - 5 pm. Look under Monthly Meetings for more information. If your plant can host a meeting, please contact a Steering Committee member.
